Business Etiquette Seminars
Tom Bryan
President
SAFE South Atlantic Fire Equipment Company, Inc
"diann is a gifted trainer. She has the ability to meaningfully engage
everyone from technicians in the field to the office staff, to the
President of the Company. The meaningful lessons we received from her
training helped us positively shape the way we deal with our clients and
each other. One of my techs recounted how the etiquette training helped
him land a sale worth nearly one hundred thousand dollars because his
etiquette polish impressed a female executive with a Fortune 500 company.
diann was instrumental in helping us become the best in our industry."
Dr. Hannah Carter
Director
Wedgworth Leadership Institute
"diann is my ‘find’ of the year! Thank goodness for
the Internet as I do not think I could have found a more excellent
etiquette person to speak to my group. In a perfect world we would have
been able to have a whole week of diann. Even in one evening, she engaged
our group and interacted with them extremely well. The audience
participation, and her use of stories made the evening the success it was.
She is enlightening, fun, thought provoking and so entertaining. I can’t
wait to have her back."
Mr.
Jay Severance, Director
Southeastern Regional
Conference
International Executives
Association
"Professional. Interesting. Timely. Charming. Humorous.....And, sorely
needed by many people today. You were a big hit with our folks as our
featured speaker. Thank you again diann, for a super seminar on business
etiquette for our group."

Debra Johnson
General Manager
Timuquana Country Club
Jacksonville, Florida
"I engaged diann to provide wait staff instruction for my service
staff. Her classes included information about greetings and hospitality,
to place settings, serving and clearing sides, replacing utensils, and
everything in between. She taught us tips on selecting wording for
describing menu specials to words which turn away anger. diann is a true
lady, and her words of advice and encouragement are so welcomed and
received by those she instructs. She is very impressive!"

Hugh Blanton
Chairman of the Confederate Ball
Kosto and Rotella, P.A.
"For diann, etiquette and good manners are not simply ideals, they are
living, working realities. In what appears to be an effortless manner, she
demonstrates these qualities at all times. This explains why she easily
commands the attention of her students - because they see that she lives
by the standards that she teaches. She is possessed of such a beguiling
and charming, yet authoritative manner, that she leaves a profound
impression on her students and it shows in their subsequent conduct."
Leslie Quaritius
Chairman Magnolia Ball 2003
Jacksonville, Florida
"Diann gave our Debutante group of women lifelong lessons in the
finishing touches that all well rounded and successful people need. Many
gentlemen also gained insight from her classes on proper introductions,
dining, thank-you notes and even waltzing. She emphasized how students
trained in etiquette must place others before themselves..."
Janet & Bo Drew
Debutante Parents 2004

... "The way Diann presented her lessons to the young ladies was done
in a professional and fun-loving style, building on their social
graces..."
Norma Farnell
2003 Jacksonville Debutante Coterie Chairman
Jacksonville, Florida
"Diann was an invaluable resource to the Debutante Coterie in preparing
the girls for both the Magnolia Ball and the Presentation. Her review of
etiquette served to reinforce what we’ve tried to teach our daughters
throughout their lives. She worked so well with the girls and had a great
rapport with them."
Wedding and Special Events
Jennifer and Bryan Turney
Bryan and I cannot thank you enough for all of your hard work on our
wedding. From our first meeting I knew that you were the wedding planner
for us – it was evident from the beginning that you love your job and that
you want to bring to life the vision that each bride and groom has for
their wedding. Not only did you make sure that we had the wedding day of
our dreams, your added attention to the details and southern hospitality
took our wedding from “nice” to a wedding that our friends and family have
not stopped raving about! Every detail was thought of beforehand and
executed perfectly that day. Although I have been a bridesmaid in many
weddings, I never realized all of the responsibilities that fall on a
bride and groom and their parents the day of the wedding (from making sure
all of the vendors arrive on time and set up properly to dealing with
guest “issues” and keeping the reception flowing smoothly and everything
in-between). With you there, we did not have to worry about a single
thing the day of the wedding. You dealt with all of the surprises and
we never even knew about them! All that we had to do was spend time with
our friends and loved ones and enjoy that one special day in our lives! I
cannot imagine enjoying our wedding day more! We absolutely loved working
with you and cannot say thank you enough!
Sorority/ Fraternity Etiquette Training
Laura Berger, University of North Florida,
Alpha Chi Omega Sorority
It was such an honor and privilege to attend an etiquette class conducted
by Diann Catlin for the young women of the Theta Sigma chapter of Alpha
Chi Omega at the University of North Florida. The room was filled with so
many wonderful emotions as we listened to Mrs. Catlin speak. The way she
taught her class through her incredible stories and personal experience
was so entertaining that I did not want the class to ever end. She taught
us everything you could imagine when it comes to proper etiquette, from
how to properly shake one’s hand to how to correctly place a napkin in
your lap. I had always believed that I had nice manners, but little did I
know there was a lot that I could polish up on.
It has only been a few short months since I attended this class, and
since then I have been able to use so many of the wonderful things that I
learned about etiquette in my everyday life. This class was truly one of
the most enjoyable and unique learning experiences that I have ever had.
Taking this class with Mrs. Catlin is something that I will always
treasure and remember for the rest of my life.
Post Undergraduate Etiquette Training Law schools and MBA’s
Ellen K. Sefton, Director of Career Services,
Florida Coastal School of Law
Mrs. Catlin has presented a variety of programs to our students ranging
from office etiquette to table manners. Her knowledge and very practical
advice is right on point. Having coached professionals in a wide variety
of organizations, she not only understands law firms but the clients they
serve. Mrs. Catlin is also very comfortable working with students. She
knows the challenges that exist when teaching the millennial generation
who come to law school with limited understanding of social and
professional protocols. She is sensitive, funny and very informative. Our
student evaluations of her presentations have been excellent.
Ms. Catlin is wonderful in her role as advisor/consultant. She is easy
to work with and exceptionally accommodating to our departmental needs.
Ms. Catlin is also very collaborative. She can always make the right
suggestion concerning the way to structure a presentation or utilize her
services in order to achieve a positive outcome.
